About the Role

What You Will Be Doing

Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other personal-care activities.

Prepare meals and support clients with feeding or dietary routines.

Help with mobility, transfers, walking, and prescribed exercise programs.

Monitor changes in clients’ physical, emotional, and cognitive condition.

Provide medication reminders according to care plans and employer instructions.

Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.

Accompany clients to medical appointments, errands, and community activities.

Record care activities and communicate concerns to families, supervisors, or healthcare providers.
Requirements
Must Have

Relevant experience as a caregiver, home support worker, personal support worker, nursing assistant, or healthcare aide.

High school education or an equivalent credential.

Basic English or French communication skills.

Ability to pass criminal-record, medical, and reference checks.

Patience, reliability, respect for privacy, and the ability to work independently.

Willingness to work scheduled shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays when required.
Nice to Have

Personal Support Worker, Health Care Aide, nursing assistant, or similar certification.

Experience supporting seniors, clients with disabilities, dementia, or mobility limitations.

First Aid and CPR certification.

Experience with care documentation, medication reminders, mobility equipment, or individualized care plans.

Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel between client homes.
